Welcome! My name is Pamela and I'm a 27-year-old new mama and holistic health coach living in NYC with my husband Brandon. I created Pretty & Spiced from my love for all things natural beauty, healthy eats, and sharing what makes me feel my best - inside and out. I hope some of my tips, recipes, and recommendations help you become the glowiest version of yourself!

  • Baby Things + New Mom Life: Becoming a mama to my daughter Scarlett was the best thing that ever happened to me (ok, besides marrying my husband!). I will be sharing lots of behind-the-scenes of my new mom life - the glamorous and not-so-glamorous - as well as sharing any tips I learn along the way. I will also share about my pregnancy and postpartum experience, in hopes of helping mamas-to-be!

  • Natural Beauty + Skincare: I love discovering + trying new green beauty products, and I especially love sharing those products with others. Researching natural beauty spots is something I do on the regular (spas, stores, etc.) and I'm so excited to share these gems with you. Over the past few years, I've learned much about non-toxic ingredients and how they help + nourish us, so you can expect to see some of the facts and recommendations here.

  • Healthy Eats, Nutrition + Recipes: I am a certified holistic health coach, and I love spreading the knowledge I have learned over the years to others to help them listen to their own bodies and eat what makes them feel best! Each person is so unique, and I respect and admire all ways of eating. I am passionate about sharing products + brands I find that use real food ingredients and taste amazing. In addition, I love to bake - specifically healthy (mostly plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined-sugar free) choices. One of my favorite hobbies is to recreate healthier versions of "unhealthy" treats my husband loves to indulge in. Most of the time he is impressed, although there have been a few fails (we're all only human)!

  • Self-Care: I am a huge proponent of self-care. Self-care means different things for everyone, and is something that can change with time. Some weeks, self-care for me means lounging on the couch with a face mask on, drinking a kombucha and eating healthy chocolate all while listening to one of my favorite wellness podcasts. Other weeks, self-care means trying out a new fitness class with a friend, going to a social event, or exploring a new place without a plan. It is so important to prioritize self-care and especially to have fun with it. We should all do things that make us happy each and every day. I hope to inspire you with some self-care ideas, and look forward to hearing yours!

  • New Places + Travel: I love to travel and explore new places. I'm always the one on a trip who has a list of must-go spots (mostly restaurants)! You can expect to see some travel experiences, restaurant recommendations, and all of my wanderlust dreams.
